You may remember that Stroud & District Motor Club had been looking this year at purchasing some of the woodland in Dursley containing the Cotswold Clouds section Crooked Mustard. We created a fundraiser to add to the club’s own money to be able to make the purchase, but insufficient funds were raised and therefore refunded. Please check that you have been refunded in full, if you had donated, and let us know as soon as possible if you haven’t.
We were in talks with a third party who was considering purchasing the woodland and allowing our usage, but Dursley Town Council have now committed to the purchase of the land. The good news for us is that they have said they will allow us to continue using the section for the Cotswold Clouds and Crooked Mustard is confirmed as part of our route for the 2024 Clouds.
The committee would like to thank those who donated and others for their support in this. We look forward to the upcoming Clouds in 2024 and hope you enjoy those as much as ever!
