S&DMC attended the MSUK Streetcar Festival of Motorsport last weekend, designed to introduce new people into a range of disciplines, particularly encouraging them to have a go in their own road cars. We hosted a Car Trial each day, including offering passenger rides and day memberships for new people to have a taste of trialling. Thanks to Mark and Paul for running the trials, to MSUK for inviting us and promoting the event, to Prescott for hosting it, to the marshals helping out and to the competitors, both regulars and new.
As you can see in the below photo, our members enjoy all flavours of motorsports! Ella’s Peugeot 107 (left) shows exactly the sort of road car which can easily and cheaply get into trialling, in the spirit of the Streetcar festival, while Mark’s Troll (front) representing a trials special at the other end of the class structure.
