A lot of you have noticed that our c.o.c for the Mechanics Trial had put in the regs that cars running A/T Tyres may have different tyre pressures than people not.
The reason he put this in is that he has secured new sections in new places for us but the land owners are wary of significant damage to the ground and he felt that there being a penalty if running A/T tyres would put people off running them and cause less impact on the ground.
However, after meeting this week, it has been decided that any penalty for running A/T tyres will not happen this year as it’s an actc round and protects the integrity of the championship scores.
We do still ask that if you have the option of non A/T tyres and you would like to help us out by running those instead it would be appreciated.
